Well, the question is...
...can we keep a people out of our band of free nations? A people, that is not only fighting for democracy, they´ve won that years before. A people that is fighting for a park, a park as a metaphor for everything that´s wrong and crooked in Turkey today. They raise their voice and won´t kneel anymore. They´ve shown the spirit of freedom many times.
The Turkish people not only deserve to be a part of the European Union, of Europe in General - if they want so - we should be glad and thankful about it! It´s not the people we should be afraid of, it´s their government and the way our government is handling things.
Out of respect, next time I order a kebap with pepper-spray rather than hot-sauce.
